At the XV International Congress, his lecture:

“Fungal Infections of the Oral Mucosa in Pediatrics”

brought a highly specialized infectious-disease and mycological perspective to the pediatric programme, further strengthening the multidisciplinary and international character of the Congress.

Questo è molto più forte del testo precedente e, soprattutto, è coerente con la relazione che ha effettivamente tenuto: le infezioni fungine della mucosa orale sono perfettamente in linea con il suo profilo in medical mycology e microbiology.

Five Countries, Three Continents, One International Scientific Community

The presence of experts from Switzerland, the United States, the United Kingdom, China and Mexico gave the XV edition a scientific dimension extending far beyond that of a conventional national medical meeting.

The value of the Congress lay particularly in the quality of the international figures brought together within a single scientific programme.

Academic and professional experiences connected with Oxford, Harvard, Boston and Beijing, alongside internationally established expertise in melanoma, psychodermatology, teledermatology and pediatric dermatology, converged in Montecatini Terme.

Different countries. Different medical traditions. Different areas of specialization.

One international scientific community united by the advancement of pediatric dermatology.

From Montecatini Terme to a Global Digital Audience

The international reach of the Congress did not end at the doors of the conference hall.

The scientific programme was broadcast live through the Prisca Sapientia Institute website, allowing the event to reach an audience far beyond Italy and Europe.

According to the digital audience figures reported by the Institute, the broadcast recorded a peak online audience of approximately 7 million, with around 60% originating from Asia.

The scale and geographical distribution of this digital audience added an entirely new dimension to the Congress.

While experts from Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia were gathered physically in Montecatini Terme, the scientific programme was simultaneously accessible to an extensive international online community.

The particularly strong Asian audience is also significant for the future international development of Prisca Sapientia Institute, demonstrating the potential of digital academic initiatives to connect scientific communities across continents.

Approximately 7 million peak online audience. Around 60% from Asia. Five countries represented by the international faculty. Three continents connected by one scientific event.

The online audience figures are based on the digital data reported by Prisca Sapientia Institute.

Prisca Sapientia Institute – Zurich at the Centre of the International Network

For Prisca Sapientia Institute – Zurich, the Congress represented much more than participation in an international scientific event.

The Institute was represented at the highest level by its Rector, Prof. Torello Lotti, while at the same time its digital infrastructure provided the international gateway through which the Congress could be followed online.

This combination of academic presence, international cooperation and digital dissemination reflects the Institute’s ambition to create connections between researchers, physicians, professors and institutions regardless of geographical borders.

The Congress therefore became a concrete expression of the Prisca Sapientia Institute’s international vision: knowledge that moves across countries and connects academic communities worldwide.

A Prestigious Academic Recognition for Prof. Massimo Gola

Within an article deliberately focused on the international dimension of the Congress, one Italian figure deserves particular recognition: Prof. Massimo Gola, President of the XV International Congress.

During the event, an Academic Ceremony of Prisca Sapientia Institute – Zurich was held.

On this occasion, Prof. Massimo Gola received an Honorary Degree from Prisca Sapientia Institute, recognizing his distinguished professional and scientific contribution.

The ceremony represented one of the principal institutional moments of the day and established a further connection between the scientific activities of the Congress and the academic mission of Prisca Sapientia Institute.

World Health Academy Publishing House: Building an International Scientific Platform

A central role in making this international meeting possible was played by World Health Academy Publishing House, organizer of the XV International Congress.

Its activity brought together within a single event specialists from different continents and connected congress activity with the broader world of scientific publishing and international dissemination of medical knowledge.

The partnership between World Health Academy Publishing House and Prisca Sapientia Institute – Zurich gave the meeting a structure extending beyond the traditional boundaries of a congress: scientific presentations, international academic cooperation, publishing and worldwide digital dissemination became parts of the same project.

15 Years of Shared Experience – Science Has No Borders

The subtitle chosen for the XV edition — “15 Years of Shared Experience” — acquired particular significance in 2026.

After fifteen years, The Dermatologist and the Pediatrician demonstrated the ability to bring together an international faculty of remarkable scientific standing while simultaneously opening its programme to a worldwide digital audience.

From Montecatini Terme to Boston, from Zurich and London to Beijing, from Mexico to an extensive audience across Asia, the Congress demonstrated what international scientific cooperation can become when academic expertise, technology and dissemination converge.

For Prisca Sapientia Institute – Zurich, this is the direction for the future:

Education without borders.
Research without borders.
Scientific cooperation without borders.

Science has no borders. Knowledge connects the world.
