In an atmosphere of diplomatic prestige and academic excellence, the Prisca Sapientia Institute, based in Zurich, Switzerland, has officially signed a historic Interuniversity Cooperation Agreement with the Agrarian University of Havana “Fructuoso Rodríguez Pérez” (UNAH).
The ceremony, held with full honors at the Ministry of Higher Education of the Republic of Cuba (MES), marks a milestone in the strengthening of scientific diplomacy and educational collaboration between Europe and Latin America.
⭐ Exceptional Leadership of Rector Prof. Torello Lotti
Representing the Institute, the agreement was signed by the Magnificent Rector, Prof. Torello Lotti, whose international prestige and scientific authority were decisive in elevating the mission to the highest governmental level.
Cuban authorities, diplomats, and academic leaders praised Prof. Lotti for his unmatched contribution to global scientific cooperation and for his ability to unite research institutions, governments, and international partners around a shared vision of innovation and progress.

1. Health Tourism Program Focused on Vitiligo
Leveraging Prof. Lotti’s global leadership in dermatology, this initiative seeks to establish Cuba as an international reference center for vitiligo treatment and regenerative medicine.
2. Development of Small Molecules for Cancer Therapy
3. Integration of Cuban Therapeutic Vaccines
Such as the internationally recognized CIMAvax-EGF for lung cancer.
4. New Monoclonal Antibodies Against Skin Cancer
5. Combination Therapy with Nimotuzumab (CIMAher®)
A humanized monoclonal antibody registered in over 20 countries.
6. Vaxira® (Racotumomab)
A monoclonal antibody with proven efficacy in solid tumors.
7. HeberFERON®
A Cuban interferon combination used for basal cell carcinoma.

Cuba is currently facing a significant drop in food self-sufficiency (from 60% to 30%), making this cooperation not only important, but essential.
📚 Historical Academic Relationship with Cuba
Prof. Lotti’s collaboration with Cuba dates back to 2017, when he participated in the Vitiligo Master Class organized by the Vitiligo Research Foundation (VRF) in Havana.
This long-standing relationship has now evolved into a formal partnership at the highest institutional level.
